We build for the long-term.

Many clean energy developers exit at construction. They take a project to financial close, build it, and then move on. At ECF, we own and operate what we build, because long-term accountability leads to better projects and stronger partnerships.

Ownership changes the standard

ECF knows the benefit of building a project to manage for decades, instead of building one to sell. The team that helps shape the engineering and the development path is deeply invested because they recognize they will also be involved in and compensated based on how the asset performs years later.

We design projects with care because we understand that we will be the ones running them. That level of commitment means that our customers and community partners know that we are dedicated to effective execution and honoring our relationships.

Alignment you can trust

When you work with ECF, the people who structure the project are the people responsible for long-term delivery. This creates alignment you can feel in practice and principle.

Flexible structure, consistent accountability

Ownership may look different from project to project. In some cases, ECF holds the long-term ownership interest while a co-located partner operates under the project agreement. In others, we deploy a full on-site operating team. The structure can vary. The accountability does not.

If you are looking for a counterparty who will still be there years after the ribbon-cutting, we should connect.
